Description[]
Heat tempering Orichalcum was an orc forging trick for ages. Stolen by Half-orc blacksmiths who took it to Man, the idea of heat-tempering brass (orichalcum) to make it hard and flexible as steel was a stroke of genius that Man had never learned the secret of or needed. Until now.
A tough substance, it's produced by making brass in a certain proportion and then heat-treating it to temper it. The result is a grey lead colored metal with a slight green tinge to it. The result is a hardened, tough, yet flexible brass metal that is practical for weapons as it is for armor. A necessary part of orcish invention that surprises Men and Elf. A long time ago, the Lemurians worked with Orichalcum, but they grew crystals of the alloy to use in power conduits.
