The luminous aether, or the luminiferous aether, is the medium through which light and radiation is transmitted through the Universe (Material Plane). The luminiferous aether is charged with plasma particles: ions and electrons, and is the medium through which electrical activity also transmits through the Universe, and connects to stars, planets, and other bodies in the Universe, according to some Hellenic philosophers.
